How long does the service usually goes for?

Most services go for approximately 20 minutes but can be lengthened with the inclusion of readings and poetry.  As the ceremony is the focus of your day, I recommend including special readings of importance to the couple and expanding your ceremony to somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes.  Services, particularly a legals only service, can take as little as ten minutes.
